Rielle Hunter?s Sister, Slams Her Disrespect Toward Elizabeth Edwards

May 10th, 2010

(HMG) – John Edwards? mistress, Rielle Hunter, has been unrepentant about their affair, and even has expressed hopes for a big future with the former presidential candidate after his divorce from Elizabeth is final. Rielle told Oprah Winfrey in a recent interview that she wanted to make it abundantly clear that she is not a home-wrecker because “it is not my experience that a third party wrecks a home.”

“You can’t steal someone else’s husband, you can’t steal someone’s wife — it’s not property,” she explained.

In response to those type of comments Rielle Hunter’s sister, Roxanne Marshall, spoke with “Extra” on Friday and said her entire family was “pretty upset” that Hunter hasn’t apologized to Elizabeth Edwards for her affair with John Edwards.

“We were hoping she would own-up to some of the things she did,” said Marshall, who sides John Edwards’ wife Elizabeth.

Hunter’s appearance on Oprah was a prime opportunity to apologize, Marshall said, and she should have taken it. “She just chose to take another path, and I don’t know who she is,” Marshall said. “She’s crossed over a boundary none of us would ever even think about.”

“They were married, she has cancer. She has two little children. She deserves some respect. I would like to tell Mrs. Edwards that I feel so bad about the whole situation, and in my heart, I feel for her.”
