IFC Acquires ‘The Pact:’ Sundance

EXCLUSIVE: IFC is acquiring The Pact, the Midnight film that has had several suitors chasing it since its debut. It’s a high six-figure deal for a 10-market theatrical release and a VOD component. It’s IFC’s second deal in 12 hours, after it acquired the Josh Radnor-directed Liberal Arts. The Pact was shopped by Preferred Content. I’ll furnish more details when I get them. IFC was into as was Anchor Bay. the Nicholas McCarthy-directed thriller Caity Lotz as a young woman who lives in her childhood house she fears is haunted. the film premiered last Friday at midnight at the Egyptian Theater. Lotz got signed by UTA up here at Sundance people got a load of her performance. Casper Van Dien, Haley Hudson, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Sam Ball and Agnes Bruckner also star.
