Actor, comedian, raconteur and all around renaissance man Stephen Fry posted a tweet on his Twitter account earlier today teasing his followers with news that he and his once and future comedy partner Hugh Laurie are “cooking up a project together. we will be working again soon.” he apologized for having no other details, but said he would offer more when he can. Laurie is just coming off his epic run on Fox’s House, so it may surprise many people in the U.S. that Laurie is, in fact, British, and is still best known there for doing comedy, particularly with Fry. They starred together in the sketch comedy show A Bit of Fry & Laurie, which ran from 1989 to 1995 at various time on BBC1 and BBC2. the two men, along with Emma Thompson, met while all attended University of Cambridge. all three of them – and others from that generation of British actors – were part of the ensemble cast of Kenneth Branagh’s Peter’s Friends in 1992.Related: Stephen Fry to Star in, Produce Art Heist Picture ‘Doors Open’ For ITV

Nina Dobrev & Ian Somerhalder’s Mother’s Day NYC Stroll

Just a few days removed from the third season finale of their hit show, small screen couple Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were spotted spending Mother’s Day together in new York City.

The “Vampire Diaries” co-star sweethearts lovingly strolled hand-in-hand as they roamed the big Apple streets on Sunday afternoon (May 13), cutely donning matching black fedoras during the midday outing.

Locked in for at least one more season, Nina and Ian’s CW series was renewed for a fourth go-round – with the plans for more vampire action having been announced on May 3rd.

Talking with Us magazine about what fans can expect when “The Vampire Diaries” returns this fall, miss Dobrev dished, “I liked having one human and one vampire, because then I get the best of worlds and I get to do a variety of things. but, then again, it is going to be different for me and it’s going to be challenge. It’s going to be more fun to sort of explore that world.”

“We’re definitely going to see her whole transition into becoming a vampire. We’re not going to skip over it, as we have with others,” she added. “Becoming a vampire, everything you feel is heightened. . . we know what Elena’s like: she has high morals, she looks out for other people. so what’s Elena going to be like with those things accentuated?”

As for the intriguing love triangle between her character and those of Ian and fellow castmate Paul Wesley’s, Nina said, “It does kind of feel like you’re disappointing half the people. but you’re always going to disappoint half the people with this kind of storyline. I think we gave them both what they wanted at some point or another during the season, so it’s not like we shunned them or disregarded their wants.”
